Default Has anyone had their catalytic converter go bad?

i have this horrible sound coming from under my car. If i stay in gear and coast around 60mph i hear the worst rattle you can imagine. the cat went bad in my jeep and this is kinda the same sound. any ideas?

Default There's a heatshield around the cat's that could get loose

I don't recall hearing of many cats going bad though.

I'll have a good used OEM one available for sale soon. :-)

Default yellow calipers are really cool. I now have a new tt friend that has the same

set up as you. in the next few weeks we are going to lower my car and do new wheels and brake kit. will those brakes work with 19" rs4 wheels?

Thanks. They should fit fine but I have no personal experience with the rs4 wheels.

Default 8 year 80k miles warranty on cat

federal law.

if ti's rattling, it should be replaced.

Default Project::dumpTT had 19 RS4 DTMs on his car and it was fine...

i have the stock 17s and a 10mm spacer up front and i rub under hard cornering

Default i am not sure, i am gonna prbly drop another 5mm up front and see what that does.

a lot depends on how much you drop

TTaz02 thinks it might be the bolt near the cat....? guess ill find out soon
