has anyone successfully installed a digital/ non-motorolla phone? Where was it mounted? Were you able to utilize the pre-wiring?

Yes. Nokia 6160. Used Nokia cark 91 kit and integrated it with all the on board Audi stuff. See the Electronics portion of the A4 forum for info. Note that the connections from the RJ45 to DB25 connector are not quite the same, you'll have to bizz them out. All features work well. The mike however provides the listener with a lot of car rumble at any speed above 20. I've been askinfg if anyone else has had this problem - but no replies.

Re: I did. Do not think any dealers will touch it, however IMHO the Motorola was a poor Audi choice
