Default What about applying to the heatshield, too? Maybe the spray type if

it's able to withstand the heat?

Default Not really a problem with the Mintec brake pads...

very little dust and the wheels clean pretty easy.

Default I was thinking of doing the heat sheild as this stuff is rated to -68 to 250 F

I think the more area that is known to vibrate can be dampened, the less resonance will occur in the car.

If I had the funds, I'd strip the inside of the car and do the entire interior!

Default Ya, just saw them when Joe told me about em...

they look great! And polished lips are so much easier to care for when you scrub em. I hit a curb and basically just sand and polished! Not perfect, but it's better than it being ruffed upped.

Default ya, I'll do some of the absorbing material later. I just wanted to test out this stuff

before I put more money into quieting the interior. I think this accompanied with the absorbing material, my car can be as quiet as a lux sedan! (not)

Default ha ha! the ankle is doing fine. I broke a stitch last month and had to lay

off the rehab, however the doc says it's ok to start up again. Bad news is that my shoulder is going out again, just got an MRI yesterday. That was not fun. They injected my shoulder joint with a dye, took them four times to get inside with a 5 in needle. sucks to be old!

Default I have looked into truck bedliner as something to spray on the heatshield...

seems the best option.

Default Seriously all you need is a sheet of this stuff tacked to the back of the floorliner

follow? It'll work WITH the stuff you have now (sum is greater than the parts type of thing). You'll be amazed. I sat in a properly dynamatted golf... and the thing was dead silent even with pounding bass.

Default that's actually a good idea, wonder if spraying the gas tank and other

undercarriage area might be good also.
