Default Help, I'm trapped in Jackonsville - Update

All bad news here everyone. The postoffice delivered my spare key on schedule yesterday, but no luck in getting the car started. I had it flat-bedded over to Key Audi using the Audi service.

Still no clue as to why a car that had been working perfectly for 2 years(only 17K miles) would suddenly up and quit.(I had plenty of gas in the tank, I promise). But I will leave that to the Audi wonks to figure out.

Audi does pay for a rental for 5 days. That is some good news, but I will still be in West Palm while my car will be here in Jacksonville.

Does anyone think that Audi will pay to have it flat-bedded to West Palm?

Last soccer game this morning. The team has made it to the finals.

More updates to come.

Default Congrats on the teams scores - too bad on the car

I'm worndering if it is in fact the 72 hours that has to be waited..... would suck - but it might be there.

Default Tell Audi you were going through Jax and they will pick up your hotel, too! (edited)

I had an ignition switch go bad on my TT and a fuel sending unit. Both could cause the symptoms you have and both are easily diagnosed. The parts depot is here in Jax, too so most parts are same day.

What color is your car so I can point it out to the staff? I know them pretty well.

And congratulations on the finals!

(edit) I re-read yoour original post and I'm betting on a fue system problem like an FSU/fuel pump. Common TT problems. Sorry you got bit, but I don't think it's too bad.

My car is the amulet red 225 QC sitting all by its lonesome self at Key Audi. They don't even know it is there. Nobody home there today, and not even an answering machine for me to leave service a message. I will call them first thing in the Am.

Thanks for your help and advice,
Richard

PS My son's team won the tournament. Got some great video. Had fun.
