Help on intake hose removal
Hi there, been reading now for a while and posting for the first time in search of some help.
Is there any easy way to remove the OEM intake hose from the turbo on a TT225. Air box was removed and any other hose but can't find the way to undo the hose at turbo. Thanks for the help.

You'll have to wait til Fotki is back up though. This is Gokart's install, complete with "rope trick" demo...

http://public.fotki.com/GoKart3/tt-stuff/samco_intake_hose/</a

well, my solution:
utilize the rope trick, where you fish some rope down around it and then yank from the driver's side.
to make easier -- so i didn't have to jack up the car, remove the wheel, the inner fender liner, etc -- i tied the other end of the rope around a broomstick and then pried at the thing. came off pretty easily.
getting the new one and clamped, though... that was a PITA.

Yepper...I had to...>
Remove the stut brace, and loosen the turbo outlet pipe and go in over the top of the engine. That whole operation is done by feel. 7mm deep socket, and stubby ratchet. Doable, but challenging!

This doesn't show removing the strut brace and loosening the charge tube running between the turbo and first intercooler hose. With these out of the way, reaching the input hose clamp is easier, not easy but easier.
Good luck

weighing only 145 pounds I happen to have skinny arms> The only problem is that I live in Puerto Rico, so there wouldn't be too many of you willing to come down and help.
