Help me out, still can't decide between 18in or 19in rs4s
I live in Chicago, currently have 16in wheels with snow tires, thinking of maybe selling those, but basically can't decide between the 18s and 19s RS4s. I was going to do the dish look, which I would definately need 19s for however I'm not sure what problems I will run into running staggered on a AWD vehicle.
So between the 18 or 19 rs4s what do you guys suggest? I have coilovers waiting to be put on as well, will the 19s make the car look weird even though dropped, would I have to slam it to look alright. I don't want to lose performance and don't want the car to become a handling slug with the 19s.
thanks

I love my 19's and I am in Milwaukee...
I run a stag setup and have had no issues whatsoever (FWD owner)
Go 19's and drop to the desired height...no need to really slam the car for 19's to look great!

I'd imagine 18's would drive better and cost less =)
Remember that 19's will most likely be heavier than 18's and will of course be a larger radius. That means that the moment of inertia of the wheels goes up a significant amount.
However I still believe its a personal preference!

hands down>>
19's! i have these in 18 inch form too and i don't notice a huge difference in every day driving. i think the huge flat sides of these compliment the flat side of the TT perfectly.

Sounds like you've answered your own question...
"I don't want to lose performance and don't want the car to become a handling slug with the 19s."
If you truly want performance you should go with a lightweight 18" wheel. 19's get really expensive if you also want light and strong.
As for staggered, it doesn't have much effect as long as you keep the rolling diameter the same front & rear, except that you may understeer a bit more.
