I have some question about 02M tranny,
my car is 2000 Audi TT with 02M 5speed quattro.

Last week I changed tranny oil and I think I overfilled,

I think 02m capacity is 2.7 quart and I put 3 quart.

After that, I keep smell the tranny oil when I drive on the freeway,

so I opened the fill hole and let the extra oil came out.

But now I still smell it on the freeway,

I also had audi shop checked my tranny and they said no leak.

They also changed the tranny oil again,

but I still smell it.

So my question is : Is there a vent hole on 02M tranny?

or my input shaft seal is leaking?

but my clutch is not sliping at all.

Can anyone give my some suggestion or some other problem might cause smell of tranny oil?

Any input wiill be appreciated.

Maybe you spilled some? Give it a few more days to see if it burns off.

but I searched many pic and post, I can not find a vent hole on 02M tranny.
It has been 3 weeks and I still smell it.
