Hey Dave B., got an XM radio for XMas :-) So far I love it. One question for you,
why did you go with the antenna install on the roof? I've seen the antennas mounted on the vast expanse of land that is the TT dashboard, and the reception is fine. I drove around this morning with the receiver sitting on my dash and reception was great. In fact, since it wasn't stuck down, a couple of times it slid off, and I caught it, and I still didn't lose reception.
Did you ever consider putting the antenna on your dash, thereby avoiding the antenna farm? Of course, in your case that is one of your claims to fame :-)

my installer claims that they have had several reports of people losing reception when...
the antenna has been mounted inside the vehicle...remember also that the xm satellites are over the equator, so you get a more direct view of them than i do (or someone even farther north of me)...it is possible that if i were headed north that the xm antenna could be blocked by the roof of the car.

So, in essence, what your saying is...
... cancel that move to Saskatchewan :-)
So, that's another advantage to living in Florida: no state income tax and better satellite radio reception :-)

of the driveway at 11 last night after a full day of christmas activities.
