Default I don't know where you live...

But here in DC, Maryland and Virginia those plate covers are big time illegal! I started out with the plates that have a mirror like affect when you look at it at an angle. Worked great on the wifes truck. She got alot of those tickets from the DC cameras. I put that plate on and the tickest stopped cold. Worked great until the cops started looking for them I had to take it off because she was getting stopped for them. Used that spray you are looking at also. IT IS CRAP!!! that stuff is a waste of good money! I have the smoked plate covers on all my cars now. They are just for show. My Audi is grey as well as my wife's truck. But, it seems the cameras can't see through them. No tickets for wifey. However the cops say they are illegal also but they don't give me tickets for having them. Everyone has them for show so the cops don't bother you usually. It is the law here that ANYTHING that covers any part of your plates is illegal. My .02.

Default They're illegal here too. I've already gotten a ticket just for having the plate cover

That's why I wanted to get something invisible.

Oh well, thanks for the feedback. )

Default They aren't invisible...

You can look at your plate straight on and still see it. The cops saw mine when they drive by you and the numbers on your plate dissappear behind the mirror. That's how they get you.

Mirrors? Wow....all I've seen is some kind of concave lens effect...
