Default Hey gary_phd or anyone with 19 inch rims...

How do the 19-inchers look and ride? I was thinking about getting 19in Sportecs, but the tire clearance seems amazingly thin. I was wondering how the ride is. Is the ride harsher? And do the 19s make the car look like it's riding on tip-toes? Any pics would be appreciated!

Default 19" Sportecs

The Sportecs with 19's are great! The ride is a little harsher and you will track in grooved roads, but handling is great! I'm more careful about potholes and such, but that about it. The Sportecs have an ET of 35 which makes them sit slightly in the wheel well, however, with it being an 8.5" width, it does sit further out than OEM's. I'm putting spacers - 8mm f and 15mm r - on. I put them on prior to my accident, and they looked great. Unfortuantely...more fortuantely, I had the wrong seat on the bolts and had to remove them. So, no damage to the spacers. If you do spacers, the wheels fills the wheel wells and don't look like it needs to be dropped. If lowered, it'd look even better. I'll take pictures once the car is all fixed.
