Default Hey guys I need some opinions please!

I drive a 00 S4 and I will be the first to admit I don't knoww much about the TT. My girlfriend went to look at one today and is planning on buying it this Mon. I don't know all the details but its a 01 quattro blk/blk with manual tranny, 39K miles, coupe, 1.8 turbo, selling price is 26K. I need to know if that price is fair or high, also I have heard people saying to stay away fronm the TT as a used car? Can you guys please help me out here and let me know what issues I need to know about. Also if any of you are near IL or IA and are selling your TT please let me know via email.

Default My opinion

The price is pretty high. I've seen a few 225 Quattros with less than 27k miles for about the same price. Also defiantly get a warranty with it. I say lower the price to about 22. Another thing is I've heard that 2001 TTs have problems but I haven't expierenced any with mine, except the spedometer didnt work right a couple times. Thats the only common problem I know of.
