Was it the Canon SD-500? I'm considering getting one of those and if you have it too, was curious of your impressions.

Default I thought the SD-500 was 7.1>>

anyway I ended up buying a "ultra zoom" Olympus C-770. It's only 4MP but comes with the 10X zoom. I find myself needing extreme zoom more often than I need extreme wide angles.... just the type of shooting I do, mostly at races where the subject is far away. And with the "digital smart zoom" cameras I've used, I always end up eating the resolution with zoom... i.e. 3MP image gets cropped to 1MP.

So I should get it in a few days... also got 1GB of memory and a couple extra batteries. Hoping I like it.
