Default Horn Question

Hey Dudes, new to this forum just got my TT 225 roadster a couple of months ago... love the mods. Had a question though.. How large is the horn area and where is it located? I would like to have a custom horn installed. I live in the city and dont have a garage. I would also need to stash a compressor someplace. Thanks for any advice.

Install some Hella's (non-air horn)... bolt in replacement and no compressor.

Default Mine only lasted a few months before they croaked...

When I told my friend at the VW/Audi/Porshce parts counter about their demise, he laughed at/admonished me. His comment was that the only horns that fail more often than the TT ones are the Big Reds...

I've got a broken set that I'll give to a good home for free!

Nothing says custom like two horns that are dying! ;-D

The kind I was looking at had 5 horns. Cheesy I know, but would pick up the ladies in my hood. Am I outta luck?

Default Please

don't. Please.

Besides, if ya need 5 horns to pick up da chicks then thats really more of an AWOT topic.

A pair of nice authentic sounding louder horns would be a good addition and could still be distinctive enough to get the attention you're looking for?

Default "Nothing says custom like two horns that are dying!" ;-D Lol, mine have been fine though.

Of course, I almost never use them. Isn't whipping around people far more satisfying?

: )

Of course. But it's sometimes impossible. And it's a terrible way to say 'hi' or 'go ahead'. ;-)

Those look like they'll be rockin'! I wonder how they'll compare to my Advance Auto Parts horns...
