Default How "rare" is the baseball-glove interior?

I'm looking at a 2001 TT. I originally wanted a 225 but when i saw this car i fell in love with it! (yes, its just a 180) why would i settle for a 180? because i have never seen another TT with this "baseball glove" interior and i WANT IT! is this a rare option? the rest of the car is nice. 20k miles, grey with a black top. it does however, need tires (cost... sugestions?). should i go for it? i do cycle through cars rather quickly and ive heard the TT's are difficult to sell - any truth to this? as you can tell, i have very little experience with TT's so any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated! i may be a fellow owner in 24 hrs.

thanks

Default I could be wrong but I think the optic interior is available on all models of TT...>

And BTW, if you don't go with the 225, you may be kicking yourself later...

Default I know how you feel. I have that combination in the 225.

Yes the Amber red baseball interior is fairly rare. it's optional and only in the roadster.

Default It was available on Roadsters and the limited-ed Neiman Marcus cars...

Consider Dunlop SP9000s for your tires.
Responsive and value-priced.

Too bad is not a 225 model. Big difference...

Neiman Marcus was more red than orange and didn't have the baseball stitching

Default Wow, seems like the 180 isnt too popular...

what about the savings and resalability? i was just reading about the Neiman Marcus ed. is the car badged as such or is there another way to tell for sure? this is a GREAT board! im impressed with the immediate responses! looking forward to being a participant!

thanks

ps - does the extra $3500 justify a 225?
