I just bought a TT Quattro. What is radar mapping?

Default Radar "maps" your interior, and if anyone reaches in and picks up say - a camara...

the radar knows the camara is part of the "mapped" interior and the alarm will sound!

What's next a stun gun, or maybe a net will deploy and capture the thief for the cops. Ain't technology wonderful.

What a ride dude, you're going to really turn some heads (that would be Boxster and Z3 owners, as you pass them by) 8^]

My friend went out today and put in his deposit.

Default Not unique to roadster...

The Coupe has it as well, as did my '96 A4. Sounds like it's a pretty "standard" component of the Audi AG / VWAG control unit...

But still, it probably took some interesting engineering to make the system work well in an open-top car...
