How to get Inner CV joint off axle?
Hey guys. I have a bad inner CV joint on front driver side. Got Axle out, boot was ripped, rigged half way on lol, water got in, etc. Was wondering if anyone on here knew how to get the old CV off and new one in place? Thanks!

there should be a cap plate at the end of the inner CV joint
use a hammer and a screw driver to pound it off. once that is off you can move around the geese and there should be a snap ring on the end of the axle. remove that and then the entire CV joint comes off. onces it's off the rubber boot should slide off.

Thanks! I was just wondering how to get the cover plate off. I will take a closer look once I wash it off.
