Default How to locate ECU number?

I can't get the rubber covering the ECU to come off. How do I do that? There is a number on the rubber itself, it's 8N0 971 905. Is that the ECU number? I am trying to get it for Pete from Stratmosphere.

Plus you'll need the last letter, "K", "N"...

Default Hmmm...interesting

My ecu number is 8N0 906 018 L. I thought the first 8 numbers are the same for all TTs. The only thing that's different between a 180 and 225 is the last letter. I thought the last letter corresponds to the engine code. For example, "L" corresponds to the engine code "AWP", etc...

see here..<ul><li><a href="http://www.hoppenmotorsport.com/ecmlist.htm">http://www.hoppenmotorsport.com/ecmlist.htm</a</li></ul>

Default The difference explained...

I live in Australia...hence my car would be of a different spec than yours. It's a TTR 225Q though.
