Default ~17 minutes, depending on traffic.
It's on a 2-lane road, so traffic can really help or hurt. The coolest thing I've ever seen on the commute is a Viper.

Default This is the number one reason why I left Chicago
I was commuting 32 miles each way (from western suburbs to northern suburbs) and it took 50 minutes on a good day, two hours on a bad.

Now I live north of Milwaukee, commute 30 miles to my job and it takes 25 minutes. I've gotten a free hour back each day.

Default 1.14 miles. i only drive when it's extremely cold and crappy out >>

Default 5 mile commute through affluent community....
Note "through". Highland Park area of Dallas. Moved here 2+ years ago, car fan's dream. Porsches are the common man's mode of transport. I see Astons and Maseratis just about everyday.

Default Currently 21 miles usually about 25 minutes..Just bought a house that will make it 30 miles each way
I've made the new commute in 30 minutes exactly but it should take about 40 min at a normal pace.
