what is double clutching exactly, how do u do it? and whats the benefit?

Default Learned that way....had to drive an old truck when i was>>>

doing summer work when i was in school. The trucks syncro's were shot to hell, so it was the only way to get it into gear. I hated that truck...but in hindsight, it was a great learning experience. Of course now i only double clutch on the downshift

Default Waste of time. Just blip the throttle to match engine speed

to the new gear when you depress the clutch just once.

Default Okay here it goes (overly simplified):

Normal downshift, is clutch in, match revs, then release clutch in the new gear. Double clutch is clutch in, shift into neutral, clutch out, rev match now/blip throttle, clutch in then into new gear, clutch out.

Done very quickly it's the smoothest possible transitition. The difference is that when the clutch is in some components in the driveline will not be attached, and you're only rev matching most instead of all of the driveline.

Yeah, I had seen this before, but when driving hard, isn't it better to save your syncros?
