Could a blow off valve be attached to a bottle of soda and be used to release pressure in the event that said bottle is shaken, dropped or otherwise disturbed in such a way as to build up an excess of pressure?

I'm just curious :)
I opened a bottle of coke and it made that *psssshhhh* sound as a bit of carbonation escaped and it got me to thinking. It'd be fun to do during boring meetings

After thinking about this some more I realize I've got it all wrong
While I was thinking a BOV would be good because you're just venting it to the atmosphere anyway and a BOV would provide a more controlled means of doing that (with a cool sound effect as a bonus) imagine what you could do with a BPV. You could release the pressure in such a way that the contents would not explode when pressure was relieved but then divert that pressure back into the bottle to maintain boost! You could open and close the bottle several times and not lose boost. Hmmm....

Back when I was brewing and kegging I had a device
That had a cornie keg (pop cylinder) attachment on it that you could screw onto a plastic bottle. You could put any liquid in a 2 liter, screw this on, hook up the co2 tank and carbonate it to your liking. Was sweet, could take Kool-aid and give it a little kick or anything else you wanted to. Was great for trying out the beer sooner rather than waiting months for natural carbonation to take effect.
