How rare is my new to me Audi TT 225?
from my understands this interior and paint seem to be relatively rare? I got this 2001 Audi TT Quattro 225 on the facebook marketplace for only $2000, it runs and drives and only has 147k on the odometer, what’s this car worth really and how rare is the baseball interior? also is there anything i should look out for on this car?

Nimbus is not a rare color. Only about 10% of Mk 1 roadsters came with the amber baseball seats because it was a $1K option and only available with a few paint colors (Lake Silver and Nimbus being the most popular). Only about 1% came with the black baseball seats. Replace the timing belt and associated parts ASAP. Read this FAQ https://forums.fourtitude.com/showth...44-Audi-TT-FAQ

Nimbus over Baseball is a desirable color combo but not especially rare.
Id say that it’s a $4 to 5 k car if repaired but the front will cost at least $2k to repair.
Are the intercoolers undamaged?

The car, in that condition, is worth $1500.00
Hopefully you bought it to drive it. Like Vegas Roadster said, replace the timing belt immediately unless you have solid proof it was done within 60,000 miles or a reasonable timeframe. Have money ready for sudden parts and more money if you don't do repairs yourself.

no, you don’t get a dollar for dollar increase on repairs. It’s a 19 year old car. Appreciate it for what it is, and drive the wheels off of it. In the alternative, if you love the car don’t worry about the economics of the repair.
