How thick are stock brake pads? Trying to determine how much
#4
I would do 2 things . . .
1. Bring the tools necessary to swap the pads at the track, just in case.
2. Bring the extra set of pads.
What track are you going to be on? Is it a high braking track or an easily driven track? No matter what track it is, I would pull a front wheel after each session and check the pads. I have lost my brakes quite a few times on the track at speed. Once was from wearing the pads off the backing plates! I was throwing sparks through the wheels at ervery braking zone. Destroyed not only the rotors but the calipers as well. Then I had to drive home like that! Not a fun thing to do. The loss of pads was not on the TT, it was on a street car I used to race. Was not about to stop during a race to change my pads! lol

Going to Road Atlanta, which has its share of braking zones especially at
turn 10a which is at the end of the back straight and requires braking from 110 to 20mph turn. And turn 1 which is at the end of the front straight and requires braking from 100 to 40 or so. At least that is my recollection on projected speeds.
Last track event at Atlanta Motor Speedway used up about 1/4" of pad.
