Huge decrease in fuel economy. Help.

I am absolutely serious.......
I have an APR chip (93/normal), BlueFlame exhaust, VTDA, ****, BM. I have checked the mpg by the old fashioned way (gas poured in vs miles) against my on-board computer calculation and it's right on.
I checked it the old fashioned way because I thought that the computer was giving me a faulty reading, but it was good.
Since I installed Modshack's ****, I had to increase module 17/channel 3 to its highest setting of 115 (note that Steve suggests 110) which if anything is giving me a lesser mpg than actual.

you can drop this number "for one reason or another", but with a good tune and steady driving you can actually achieve something above 30 (this literally WAS a "mileage" exercise, just to see).

I had some mixture issues during my modding >>>
which caused my mpg to drop to around 16.5 where it was between 20 and 21. This happened after I installed my fmic/dv relocation. After logging I found out the car was running very lean. I since fixed the problem and got the mpg back, so you should get some logs of your MAF, O2 voltages, and timing corrections because it sound like some sort of mixture issue if all the sensors are working properly.

UPDATE.
I tried what you said, and my car is FOR SURE messed up some how. It is still getting 16mpg avg.
And I'm seriously treating the car like an antique.
I notice when I'm not moving the car is reading like 11.9mpg on the real-time display when it should say "---" on occasion it will read correctly, but most of the time its reading like I'm on the gas.
I've never used vag com, and I don't have it. No one near me is on that vag com list... does anyone care to give me some pointers as far as stuff to try.

instead of spending money on mods, invest in a VAG-COM, otherwise you'll
be wasting your time and everyone else's trying to figure out whats wrong. You might want to invest in a leak detector as well. Really, if you're modding the car these tools are a must.

You don't think you're wasting money on mods until...
something randomly goes wrong. I've almost bought Vagcom at least 3 times... I just decided against it when my problems were solved.
I'll try to find someone local...
