I complained about the short range of the remote key a few days ago. The dealer said it is not adjustable, but they taught me a way to increase the range. Try using the key while touching the metal part of your key to either your chin or head. It actually works for me! It looks funny though when I do that. Try it, and let me know whether it works for you or not.

I've done that with keyless entry/alarms for years. It pretty much triples the range.

I've done this too, it works, and I even tell this to my patients. You should see the look on their faces. ( Sure doc, like you know what you're doing.) But, since I usually talk about cars with most of my patients, it takes their minds off the procedure that I'm performing. Plus, it only adds to my reputation that I'm "Dr. Lane who causes no pain".
