Default I know what you mean

My Thinkpad does 1400x resolution on its screen. I can't imagine going back to 1024x. I'd love to go higher but it would mean having a scrolling screen...kind of defeats the purpose.

Default Don't worry Tom, I managed to say Thinkpad in my response. ;-)

My company only buys the most power of the T line at this point. They are getting close to getting a few T30's! I have a lowly T22, but I can't complain. It does just fine for what I need it for. But still, I drool over the T30. PC Magazine just reviewed one. They said it blew away all the others it had reviewed for that article. I still have a soft spot for IBM's even though I'm not there anymore.

Default i bought a t22 for home last fall (have a friend there who got me the friends and family discount)..

and may be getting a new t23 at work, since the lease on the t20 i inherited is coming up. maybe i should wait another month or two for them to start offering the t30.

Default I'd wait for the T30 if you want a real beast.

The T30 comes with a trackpad/trackpoint set up (for some models). Even has a shockpad for the hard drive. Read the PC Mag review and you'll definitely want to wait. :-)

My wife has a T21 from the employee discount program. It has been a great machine for her.

Ooh, and the T30 comes with a blue/purple 'Enter' key! :-P
