While I was installing my stereo, I unhooked the battery for safety reasons. Then the car sat for 2 weeks before I drove it again. Yesterday while heading to the gathering the car felt sluggish, almost like stock. In fact it was only going to 10psi of boost according to the gauge.

When I arrived at Daves, I checked to make sure the Chip was in performance mode, and sure enough it wasn't.

So, if you unhook the battery..it seems it will go back to default mode. I have never heard anyone mention this so I figured I would share.
