After much waiting and a bit of a B.S. from my dealer, I placed the order for my 2001 Audi TT Roadster at another dealer. Now I get to do the "Wait" thing that I've heard you all talk about. (Actually, I've been waiting since February of 1996, when I saw the concept car at the auto show.) This will be my third convertible from Audi! (I currently have a blue '98 Cabrio that replaced a red '95 Cabrio.)

I ordered a 225HP Quattro in Nimbus Grey with a grey top and the Amber Red Baseball Optic interior. Just like the one in the December '99 issue of Audi Magazine. I also ordered the Premium Package and the Bose Audio. I was informed that it will have the 5-spoke 17-inch wheels and the power top.

I am number 5 on their list of roadsters ordered, and expect a June delivery. (...what's four months after waiting four years!)
