Default I HATE FRIGGIN' HUMAN RESOURCES!!!

Everytime these dirty rat-ba$tards decide to "shift paradigms" (insert buzzwords of choice) - I end up with more work on my plate... Now, I'm expected to waste a work day writing an "Outcome-based Job Description" - FOR MYSELF!!!

All I want to know is: WHY OH WHY DO WE HAVE A BLOODY HUGE HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT, WHEN I HAVE TO WRITE MY OWN FRIGGIN JOB DESCRIPTION??? Isn't that why we employ them? Jeez don't they have ANY tangible product? I'm convinced they don't even understand half of the words/terms/jargon they use - it keeps changing every 6 months - they're just trying to ensure their own job security by making sure everyone else is at least one step behind, conceptually and in the lingo -

DIRTY RAT BA$TARDS!!!

Thanks - I'm done ranting now.

Default People who can, do. People who can't are guidance counselors. People who are beneath the skill

level of guidance counseling work in H.R.

It ain't a rant if it's true, brutha.

Default While your opinion is yours.....>>>

I think your generalizations, Ivan, are a little harsh. I was a guidance counselor once. I can do plenty. Working with young people is a challenging and rewarding career choice. It also takes a Masters degree to get your foot in the door. You can take the foot out of your mouth now.

Default Steve my personal experience is my own and is so polluted with guidance

counselors and HR reps that cost me time, money and self esteem that I am not about to change that opinion. I try really hard to not offend but I am leaving this one as it stands. I have had bad experiences so repeatedly and frequently with folks in those positions. Life changing bad. Hell I was an H.R. person myself and I was disgusted with the amount of nothing we did all day.

I figure I am allowed a very few gross generalizations and I don't have many besides this one. Peace.
