I mentioned a few days ago that I'm getting a grinding noise when braking. I was already thinking of getting new pads to cut down on the brake dust, so now I'm thinking new rotors as well. Should I:

A. get some slightly used rotors (rear only) from a fellow AW'er and do the install myself (using Jeff Bipes' How To). Cost is around $70 for rotors shipped plus my install time.

B. Go to stealership and get OEM rotors installed (rear only). Cost is $525.

C. Get some aftermarket rotors (f & r) and pads and install them myself. The ones below on ebay are a possibility. Cost will end up around $400 plus my time.

Do you guys think the ebay rotors are any good? Do I need/want vented rear rotors (2000 180QC)? The set on ebay is drilled/vented fronts and drilled/solid rears.

if that is within the budget. If not, I would get some OEM rotors on the cheap. I can help with the install btw. I have't done any brake work before but I would be happy to help out.
