I no longer label the TT as a sports car...
I roadtriped 1000 miles over the weekend in my coupe - I now like to call it a touring vehicle. This thing keeps amazing me after almost two years. I have no spoiler but this thing was rock solid above 100 all day.
On a side note - for ****s and giggles I stopped the Ferrari/Aston dealer in my town today. I drove a modena - now that is a sports car, wow!
Then I asked when they're getting in the Vanquish (not knowing that only 100 are getting to the US this year) and she said in the next few months. I said - I'll be back.
I love test driving cars I can't afford

I didn't say mph ;) I drove from Chicago to Ohio and back. The 100 and above business
I worry more about getting a ticket than losing control of the car because like I said it was rock solid the whole day. A guess a ticket is just a risk you have to take when you drive a fine touring vehicle.

I think I hit 100mph every day i drive.
The interstate speed limit here is 75mph, what little traffic there is travels at 85-90 (right alongside the DPS patrol cars); thus there are a few times daily when passing that you hit 100mph plus.

I do the same. If I drive the TT, I'll probably hit 100 at some point
If I'm on back roads near my house, then the answer is definitely. I took the V70R up over 120 on a road within 1 mile of where I work last week. It was VERY solid at that speed. I let it wind down slowly to 80 before I took the turn.
I will take both cars up to 100+ on roads that have plenty of forward visibility as long as I feel I can see what might jump out from the side (in the woods) with plenty of time to slow down. In NC, I drive a number of bridges that are flat and long enough to hit speeds over 100mph. These are good because you don't have to worry about the fishes jumping onto the road too often.
