Default I thought you guys said Sonnen in Marin were good. Is this good?

Got a small scrape on the underside of the front bumper from a curb. The dashboard guages were also on the fritz and the drivers seatbelt was installed with a twist so I dropped it into Sonnens swish dealership in Marin County, CA. They ordered the dashboard, fix the seatbelt and kept the car for two days before they told me they didnt have time to have their bodyshop guy look at the bumper to even give me an estimate. Months later the dashboard is finally in & its time for the first 5000 mile oil change so I schedule another service and ask them once again to give me an estimate on the underside of the bumper. They keep the car for a day. The dashboard gets replaced but now it doesnt like one of the keys - the security system flashes the invalid key light. Also they really didnt wash the car - they gave it back damp but the windows are still dirty. Whats more the car now leaks oil from underneath somewhere and leaves a puddle in the garage floor after leaving it there overnight (didnt bother to tighten the oil pan drain or filter I guess. Also they still didnt have time to get an estimate for the bumper paint repair and I had to wait and insist thay they interrupt their body shop guys to give an estimate. The car is going back AGAIN for another try at the paint repair on wednesday.

The car is great and the dealership is very fancy but the service department seem to care less than the teenagers down at Jiffy Lube. I dont get it these guys sell a ton of Porsches etc. Is this bad service or are owners of luxury cars a bunch of suckers and this is par for the course.

Funny Sonnen have a good rep on this board. The dealer in Cincinatti (beachmont motors) from whom I bought the car and had it shipped to california have a spotty reputation on the board but I found them to be awesome. Go figure.

As a regular Sonnen user, all I can say is "not my experience". Who's your Service Rep?
