Default I was told that by replacing the lower intercooler feed

between the turbo and the intercooler itself (only one for a 180 on the passengers side, but I understand the 225s have two) would increase HP by 10. The reasoning was that a custom feed would have a more aerodynamic shape, thus reducing any pressure drop due to the bends and kinks that the stock feed has.
Now, understand, that I'm not "car literate" enough to know how much of the story I was told is true.
This is where I need your help. Any thoughs on the matter?

On a side note, I was thinking about the physics of the matter and it makes sense to me that any fluid flowing though some irregularly shaped object is going to have turbulent zones and areas where the fluid pressure is high and low. It seems to me, however, that for an intercooler feed to exhibit such properties, the air velocity would need to fairly high. Does anyone know what a typical air velociy flowing though the intercooler feed would be?<p>GrishFish

Default The feed from the turbo to the intercooler is metal. That is the part that will be replaced.

No hoses need to be replaced as I understand it. I'm a little skeptical on the +10HP part though.

If you look behind the front passanger side wheel you'll see the feed.

Default I found a group buy for this part....see inside for links

Did some searching and found a group buy for this part on the Vortex forum; I am not sure if it will fit our TT though. This link also has a link to the manufacturer of such part
