If there was any doubt that cars 'know'...
...we go to pick up our MINI, and trade in my 8 year old daily beater, get it washed and waxed. On the way back from the car wash, the A/C stops working (It was only 100 out.) After some detailing we leave for the dealer, thumpthumpthumpthump... flat tire. The car knows it's being traded in. I think I'll be flatbedding it... it could still have a few tricks up it's sleeve.
