Default I'm wanting to paint my front strut brace to match the Samco red.

What paint have you guys used when doing this and do you clear coat it too? TIA.

Default you can probably lightly sand it (prep) and spray paint it with the auto paint that

the auto stores sell. no clear coat.

Default I used Krylon HiTemp (red) then used Krylon crystal clear high gloss it's a

protective clear coating, non yellowing formula. You can also use the cryatal clear on copper and brass to keep it from turning color.

I doubt it would smooth well on such a large surface.

Default I had mine powder coated. The color is a decent match.
