decent one with loud bass for hip hop listening, yet clear and nice for Jazz too.

how much do you spend on audi system? and maybe with some screen nav/ dvd.

Default Nav/DVD already puts you in the $2000 range for source unit alone plus amps, plus speaker, plus

install. You don't want to know what mine cost.

Default Minus a flip out monitor...

you can replace the system, add subs and amps for $1800 and thats pretty cheap. I did all diamond audio for that price.

Default with the right installers, one can make a small budget system sound incredible...

whatever you do, don't compromise though. If it sounds good to YOUR ears, then go for it!

as far as my system- well, I went a little overboard...

Default You posted before and said you lived in Pleasanton...

I've been in LA for 3 years but am from Pleasanton. Did you go to Amador? If so what year I bet I know you?
