Default You have two options (I think)

You can take out the under-dash and tap into the accessories wiring (yellow wire I believe). Or you can go into the fuse box and pick an un used slot.

In either case, the wires can be hidden in the cracks of the dash and windshield plastic. You shouldn't have to take 'everything' apart to accomplish it.

Default Agreed. Detailed hardwiring instructions would be very nice.

I'm just running the V1 from the cig lighter right now - I'll pull the remote display and hardwiring kit from the BMW probably tomorrow, and give the hardwiring into the TT a shot this weekend. Detailed instructions (or at least a 100% certainty on which wire to use and where it is located) would be MUCH appreciated.

Default You can search AudiWorld using Google . . . instructions inside

Go to Google Then type in what you are looking for followed by site:AudiWorld.com

Like this: valentine 1 site:audiworld.com

It works better and faster than the old AudiWorld Search.

Default Re: easy solution

James...Installed mine on the left side of the dash next to the A pillar . 1 strip of velcro did the trick and no windshield obstructions. The wiring ends up being only 1 foot long. Tap a switched fuse for power.....Picture when I get home!
