Default Intercooler Mister install....Part 1 (electrical)....

In order to wire the Labronics controller, various sensor leads must be run. There is plenty of cabling supplied so this is not a problem. I ran the 2 thermister leads (ambient and IC temps) through the grommet hole above the throttle and down the right side of the car to tie into the "hot" side of the IC. The duty cycle lead is also in this bundle which attaches to an injector wire so this side of the car was a natural. There is also a pump turn on lead which I routed to the left and will splice into the (x) alien pump when the fender liner comes off. Under the dash is a switched 12V and ground, and that's pretty much it. The Labtronics box will remain in the cabin until all adjustments for temp and duty cycles are completed. I'll then mount it up under the lower drivers side dash bottom and monitor the pump activity with a remode LED to be mounted somewhere on the dash. That's it for this week...Next Sunday, Marcus and I will remove the nose and do the mechanical part of the install (Nozzles and water piping) as well as the thermister mounting...Stay tuned!

Looks like fun! Wish I was a right coaster so I could be there for the install.

Default Steve, do the mods stop when you get to the price of your old Carrera or....>>>

Are you throwing the boat cost in too? )

J/K of course. Been lots of talk about this, it will be nice to see an actual implementation.

Default LOL.....the boat was.....>>

my daughters College fund as she always used to remind me. The TT mod program is chump change compared to what it cost to run a 35' sailboat for a year! As to the Carrera....well....that was then, this is now!

Actually, the Mister project will come in at under $200. Not bad.
