Default Interesting results of 1.8T Intake Manifold testing of several aftermarket manifolds

<center><img src="http://www.80tq.com/~wiz/gallery2/d/1116-1/Intake+Manifold+Comparison.PNG"></center><p>this was done independently at Tyrolsport and i'm sure will be controversial. Interesting that Dahlback provide very minimal improvment over the OEM small port manifold and less that the OEM big port manifold (found on the Euro AUG engine).<ul><li><a href="http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=3098525">Test Results</a></li></ul>

Default Yeah - I guess they weren't able to get one......

not sure if they asked or if DelRio chose not to participate. I'm not even sure if you can buy just the manifold separately or not. Just be glad you sold your Dahlback unit :-)

Default Actually

I didn't sell it. Delete this whole tread QUICK!! ;-) I've always intended to but haven't gotten around to it. Oh well, live and learn. And there will still be someone who will want it for the looks and still obvious performance increase. :-)

Hmmm. Would like to see where an Extrude Hone would place in that mix.

Default here are the Wilson manifold number, very even for runners...

Wilson Manifold results

#1 (before) - 196 cfm - (after) 240 cfm n=44
#2 (before) - 216 cfm - (after) 246 cfm n=30
#3 (before) - 212 cfm - (after) 246 cfm n=34
#4 (before) - 218 cfm - (after) 244 cfm n=26

average before # - 210.5 cfm
average after # - 244 cfm
average difference = 33.5

Cost to me - $650 (and that included TB work as well ;-)
