Default Interior light problem & FIX ...

ok, my TTC interior lights (driver side, entire panel and passenger side) won't go on when I push the buttons. Sometime it does, and other times it doesn't. It wasn't working last night while I was sitting at a drive thru, so I got pissed and decided just to open the door and let the lights turn on. When I grabbed the door handle and pulled it about 1/3 of the way, the freaking lights went on. I left the drivers side button still on, so that's why it turned on when I pulled the door handle.

I didn't open the door, but I triggered something within the sensors thinking it was open to make that light turn on.

Did this make sense?

Anyways, I found my own freakin' mix for my interior light problem! :-P

Default If you are really sick of the problem, it can be fixed.

I explained the symptoms to my dealer along with a sure fire way to reproduce it. They ordered and replaced a "central locking module" and the problem has never appeared since. Email me if you want to persue this and I'll dig up my paperwork and even give you the Audi part number of the gadget they replaced.

Good Luck to You!
