Default iPod Question...

Anyone here ever used this or know how well it works?
http://www.apple.com/ipod/accessories.html

It's the Tunecast Mobile FM transmitter, supposed to let you listen to your iPod through an FM radio station.

Just curious how well it worked.<ul><li><a href="http://www.apple.com/ipod/accessories.html">http://www.apple.com/ipod/accessories.html</a</li></ul>

Default I went off Bipes info, but decided to do the blitzsafe adapter...

from autotoys.com for about $70. It meant no more changer, but thats ok, cause I can have all my cd's on my ipod. I ran the cable up through the tunnel, used a little rubber grommet in a hole i drilled throught the trim piece that covers the cell phone arm mount on the front right of the tunnel, then up to the ipod mount on the pass. side knee bolster. the adapter works like a champ, I've heard people have issues with not enough volume from the ipod, but mines plenty loud.

I also saw an adapter here a couple days ago that allows you to keep your changer and switch between the two, ala Bipes mod, but havent' heard any more about it. Might be cool.

The FM transmitter really isn't that great (I've tried one), and a tape adapter is so cluttered, don't you think?

Default Highly recommend...

... the Jeff Bipes hardwire solution... just completed my install yesterday ... works perfectly, and was actually a much easier install than I had anticipated. I went with a slight variation on the std device - using a toggle switch instead of the black box - this minimizes visible clutter within the car.

I can provide an excruciating detailed account of the install if anybody is contemplating it themselves but is concerned by the "invasive" nature of the mod.
