Default This is ironical ...

So yesterday, I forwarded the quote about SUV drivers from Denny's post reviewing the anti-SUV book to all my SUV-owning friends and colleagues.

This morning, I bring the TT in for service and guess what I get as a loaner car ... Chevy TrailBlazer. I could sense the word "hypocrite" being whispered in my direction as I pulled into the lot at work today.

Stay out of my way, though, because I'm feeling very anti-social and menacing today!

Denny's Post

Default Guess what I had as a rental last weekend?

(another) big *** off-white pimp-daddy cadillac, complete with turn signals built into the side mirrors! It was all I could do to keep in my lane and not call all the young scamps and hooligans "sonny-boy" and start sentences with "when I was a youngster... "

You don't don't know the depths I sank to, to get that car instead of the (it's not your father's) olds cutlas supreme sierra thing...

:-)

Default <admission of guilt> My previous two vehicles were SUVs, but ...

after two rollover accidents, I decided something with a lower center of gravity would be more to my liking.

Besides, this TrailBlazer is way bigger than any SUV I ever owned, and the steering is incredibly vague, and it's an automatic, and I HAVE TO PAY FOR THE GAS! And the rental-car monkey had the unmitigated gall to call it an UPGRADE. Bigger is not necessarily an upgrade, Jack.
