HA! same here...I just got back home from using the lift - 2.5hour + $34
= oil change, replace rear springs, replace/lube sway bushings
not a bad deal.
now, to wash the salt off the car, an change the pollen filter. where is that filter located?

I gotta do my filter soon too...
You can get at it from under the hood...passenger side...kinda stuffed under the plastic molding. I believe the manual has the exact location of it...

there are 3 sizes for that bar depending on your year and if it's a quattro. i had mine greased and the sound went away...for only a week.
appearantly those bushings are in a tight spot and very difficult to change.
