Default I've been searching "alignment specs" but I can't come to a concensus.

Here's the setup: kw v3 dropped about 1.5", full KMAC, Mk I front control arms with powerflex bushings, Neuspeed 19mm rear and 22 mm front swaybars, Haldex controller.

I will be at the audi club event at Autobahncountryclub this weekend and probably go to gingerman a couple times per month. I'd also like to get into autoX. Of course this is also my daily driver. I lean a bit more toward performance rather than perfectly even tire wear.

What should I tell the alignment guy for camber, toe, and
?caster.

Any input is greatly appreciated.

What are Steve's latest settings b/c if its good enough for him...

Default Here's where I am........

I've got the Ground control,Camber plates front and Kmacs rear, so I have a lot of adjustability. I just reduced my front camber for street use, cause I didn't like the "Feel" of my original setting..

I have Bilsteins/Eibachs/Kmacs/19 and 22 mm bars/Mark 1 front arms/GC camber kit/Haldex controller. 1 inch drop.

What feels the best to me is:

Front camber: -.9
Caster (No adjustment)
Front Toe: 1/16" (Toe in)

Rear Camber: -1.6
Toe: 1/16th (Toe in)

This set-up feels really good with 36/36 tire pressures all around. I had the Front Camber set a bit higher (-1.2) but the car felt a little heavy. Higher settings are probably good for track or Auto-X, but Mine's a street car.

This set-up works for me!

Default Does a GC kit do more than adjust camber?

I thought that the Ground Control kit only allows you to dial in more negative camber up front. Does it replace rubber or urethane components with solid ones?

A camber of -0.9 up front is well within reach of the the standard set up. In fact, you can probably get up to -1.8.

Default It does more...>>

Camber as well, and yes, all the rubber is replaced with aluminum.

Have you tried adjusting a front end? There is a very limited adjustment in the slotting at the ball joints. I am only moderately lowered, so There is not much to play with. I also have Mark 1 arms which may or may not be different there. A 2" drop may see those numbers. I did it as much for removing the rubber and slop as I did for adjustability..

Default I've found different specs work best, depending upon the tire>>

With Toyo T1-s:
left front camber -1.1 right front -1.2
total front toe 1/16...or 1/32 each side

the higher negative camber on the right helped the car track on crowned roadways

left rear camber -1.5 right rear -1.5
total rear toe 1/16 inch... 1/32 per side

Michelin PS-2's work better with less camber

left front camber -1.0 right front -1.0
total toe 1/16 inch

left rear camber -1.4 right rear -1.4
total toe 1/16 inch

The car is lowered 32mm or about 1 1/4 inch (H&R coilovers) with adjustable (Stratmosphere) lower control arms in the rear.
The factory front camber adjustments have provided sufficient adjustment range at this ride height.

All of these settings were arrived at by trial and error. The car is dedicated "street"...
