Default Just bought a 2005 Audi TT 3.2 Quattro and need to know

if anyone here knows how to turn off the audio warning. The books are "in the mail" and so I don't have a manual to look it up. The last owner set 60mph as a warning - so as I drive along I get a DING DIng ding - very annoying. Audi dealership had 2003 and 2004 books - and their methods of turning off the warnings well, didn't work.

Anyone have a clue?

Thanks in advance.

Default Is the warning labeled as #1 or #2?

That might be why the book method didn't work. If it's set to #2, that needs to be removed when the car hasn't been started yet, I think...

Default Audio is #1 - arghhh LOL

The Audio is #1 set at 60mph
The Visual is #2 was set for 80mph - that one I was able to turn off.

Also, do you know how to stop the 2:00 flashing - which I understands means time to stretch your legs?

I wish they had put everything back to default!

To stop the 2:00 flashing, just press the rocker switch on the end of the wiper stalk.
