I've read alot of your posts and it's either the gauge cluster or the fuel sending units. I just had the cluster replaced before christmas and the needle is dancing and sticking. So, either the cluster is crap or either of the sending units in the tank are acting up.
I hadn't been filling my tank up since the holidays. My mechanic said that audi's don't like to be underfilled for long periods of time and that the sensors corrode when they remain exposed in the tank. So I filled it up hoping that would do the trick. We'll see. Haven't driven a whole lot since the fill. So who knows. Needle says full. But I've driven 40 miles so far. We'll see, I guess.
