Is it just me, or is the nav system no good?

Is it just me, or is the nav system no good?
I was going to say something harsher than no good, but this is a family forum, so...
I got my TTR. Great car, blah blah. I tried to use the nav system and it has all sorts of little issues -- it'll get confused about which direction I'm pointing, and on close city streets (I'm in SF), it'll think I'm on the next street over (which means it's off by 50 yds or so). I took it to the dealer 3 times and the first 2 they swore there was nothing wrong and the 3rd they said they fixed it, but I'm suspicious they just said that to get me off their backs.
Is this what I should expect from the nav system? Or is mine broken in some way and I need to keep harassing the dealer (Rector Motors in Burlingame -- boo, hiss).
