Default Just a mention on tools...

We visited tool warranties a while back when I was looking for new tools and some people said that Craftsman tools from Sears no longer carried the lifetime warranty. I verified that all their Craftsman hand tools do in fact have a lifetime warranty (ratchets, sockets, etc).

Also, if you have Lowes nearby (I just got a new one down the street) I noticed that they have a brand of sockets and ratchets (I think other hand tools also) that carry a lifetime warranty. The prices seemed comparable and I think I liked the Lowes stuff better (ergonmoics, looks).

Just an FYI.

Default Some info inside

Torque wrenches from craftsman do not carry a lifetime calibration warranty(i think...I personally thought that they do but someone told me that they do not). Everything else does.
The lowes stuff, Husky maybe?, is very good...the tools are actually made by Snap-On.

Default Search for the truth Scott! I posted the torque wrench had only 90 day warranty.

Default =) just bought a mechanics set of Husky from the Home Depot

At a great discount due to them supplying my materials for the Job....sometimes being in construction has benefits...not many..but some ;-)
