My EMCS unit is testing out nicely...
Quite smooth, yet it packs a heck of punch for premo fuel. Very strong torque. Seems smoother than my Euro MTM, but a fair comparison isn't possible until Brett finishes up his racing gas version (looks like about another month on that although it should not be that big a deal as it mainly encompases timing advance adjustments).
I'm especially impressed with the ability to change programs on the fly and the throttle body alignment and adaptation feature...very comforting knowing its correct and dead on. I expect I'll bump to the racing gas program on the street from time-to-time just long enuf to deal with challenges.
On rare occasions I let my 18 yr. old son drive or for valet drops it will be a snap to de-tune the heck out of the motor.
My unit is a hand built, beta version Brett put 250 miles on b/4 he sent it on to me. Setup was a snap via cruise control switches...so nothing weird at all there.
