1) there goes the mod pkg.
b) can't you ride those horsies?
III) spend the $
4) look for a used diesel pickumup( owned by a "slicker"

in any case -good luck!
(Horses are right up there with:
1) serious cocaine/heroin habits
b) auto racing programs
III) If you can afford to live in NOvato and have horses buy a fleet of pick ups. (no offense intended)

Default What kind of pickup?

I REALLY like the new GM diesels.

If you're towing heavy stuff, you might look at the small medium-duty pickups (4500-5500 range) rather than a large light-duty (3500HD type)

office mate here bought a dodge 4x4 diesel leather seats fifth wheel hitch and EVERYTHING for 22k.

2 yrs. old and I can't tell it from new.

Try shopping outside the bay area.
