just wondering
ive had my car for about 7 months now and i just had the low oil warning just pop up, ive never had an oil change both due to procrastination and audi saying dont bother until 10k.

I would never wait 10k miles no matter what Audi said.
I know the first interval is 5k, 10k, and 20k. I don't know about newer TTs. But I change mine myself when it is does not fall under the scheduled service. I buy an Audi oil filter and just use the same Mobil 1 oil that I supply my dealer. Have you checked your oil? Is it low? If anything just add a quart of whatever oil you will be using once you do start changing your oil. You don't want to wait too long on something like this. Get that engine back up to the full mark. =) -Doug

Don't be stupid....>>
although you've been VERY lucky for someone who does not check his oil. These cars USE oil....Many use a lot during break in which could take 12-15K miles...I burned a quart every 3K until the 15 K mark, and now i use None. Check your oil once every few weeks at the minimum...(this is NOT a Honda)
